At Moorooka State School we follow Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum (AC V9). It outlines the essential knowledge, understanding and skills that students across Australia learn from Foundation to Year 10. Developed by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), it provides a consistent national framework to guide teaching, learning and assessment in schools. The curriculum is designed to ensure all students develop strong foundations across key learning areas.

K-12 Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Framework
Our school also follows the Queensland Department of Education's Kindergarten to Year 12 Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework, which provides clear expectations for how the Australian Curriculum is implemented in Queensland schools. The framework supports schools to deliver high quality teaching and learning through consistent planning, assessment and reporting practices. It ensures curriculum delivered is aligned with state priorities while supporting schools to meet the needs of their students and community.
