The Uniform Shop is located at the school hall, accessed from the outside through the first window as you approach the hall from the Administration Block. The shop is managed by a convenor and supported by volunteers.
What does the shop sell?
The shop sells the shirts, shorts, hats, socks, dresses and jacket of the school uniform. The school also sells backpacks with the school logo, library bags, chair bags, swim caps, netball visors, football socks, and shirts for P&C members. We’re always changing and improving our stock list so keep an eye on the school newsletters.
Placing an order
If you cannot make it to the shop then fill out an order form and either email it to the uniform shop or drop it in to the office with payment. The order will be filled and then someone will let you know it is ready to be picked up from the office. The order form can be downloaded from this website. Please make all cheques payable to Moorooka State School P&C Association.
Second hand uniforms
Second hand uniforms are available at the shop. The prices are reasonable and some items are near new. Purchase of pre-loved items is via CASH only.
Those interested in selling second hand uniforms need to label them with the NAME, clothing SIZE, and PRICE. Then send them to the shop for display. Once sold, a 10% handling fee is deducted and the balance of money is held for you until collected.
Donations of pre-loved clothing are gratefully accepted. These with be affordably priced and available to all families, especially those who can’t afford new uniforms.
The Uniform Shop needs volunteers to stay open. Can you help with stock take, unpacking deliveries, sorting pre-loved clothing, or being a friendly face for the school? If so, then pop into the shop and stay for a while.
Lastly, always remember to label the uniform with the child’s name.
