Each reporting period, students receive a report for each learning area that has been taught. Student achievement is assessed against the Australian Curriculum achievement standards for their year level. Semester 1 reporting covers Term 1 and Term 2 learning, Semester 2 reporting covers Term 3 and 4 learning.
Teachers gather evidence of student learning through classwork, tasks and assessments completed during the semester. Using this evidence, teachers make an on-balance judgement about how well a student has demonstrated the knowledge, understanding and skills that have been taught during that reporting period.

Student achievement is reported using a five-point scale, as outlined in the Queensland K-12 Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework. These ratings indicate the quality of a student's learning against the expected standard for their year level at the time of reporting.
In addition to written reports, parents and carers have the opportunity to attend Parent Teacher interviews in Terms 1 and 3. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss your child's learning, progress and wellbeing, ask questions and work together with the teacher to support your child's ongoing development.
