An exciting extra-curricular activity that is offered at Moorooka is our school choir. The Moorooka Choir is open to all interested students in Years 1 to 6, and is conducted by our Music Teacher, Mrs Cooper.
Choir rehearsals are each Tuesday (Senior) and Wednesday (Junior) morning before school at 8.00am in the music room, and conclude at 8.40am.
Singing in a choir is a wonderful way to develop music skills. It gives students the opportunity to explore additional repertoire, to enjoy the unique sound of choral music, to perform and be with like-minded children who share a love of music. Our choir performs regularly at school Parades, and also at special events both within the school community and outside of it.
