Each term, sports development clinics are organised for classes. This is on top of their existing PE lessons.
In the past, Moorooka State School has seen different clinics visit the school and qualified coaches teaching essential skills and games to students in the following sports:

- Soccer – Football QLD
- Futsal – Futsal Australia
- AFL – AFL QLD
- Tennis – Remmar Tennis
- OzTag – Moorooka OzTag.
