Sports
We offer a range of sports initiatives at Moorooka State School ranging from Gala Days in Year 5–6 and student representation at district or regional events. There is also a range of different sports that are avaliable before and after school which are run by private organisation including Tennis, Soccer and AFL. Please check our Newsletter for the most current information on sports on offer before and after school.
Music
Students in Prep to Year 6 can learn an instrument. They can choose to learn a band instrument, a stringed instrument, or take up private tuition with guitar, drums or piano.
Excursions
At Moorooka we offer our students a range of external and internal excursions to support and enhance the curriculum. Letters are sent home to parents to advise them of upcoming excursions, they are also avaliable on QParents and in our newsletter.
Choir
Singing in a choir is a wonderful way to develop music skills. It gives students the opportunity to be involved in choral experiences.
