Brisbane City Council bus in suburban street

Children attending Moorooka State School come from the suburbs of Moorooka, Salisbury, Tarragindi, Rocklea and Annerley. Many of our children walk to school while a number also ride bikes. Our school features a parent drop off zone in Sherley Street where parents can park for 2 minutes for dropping off before school or picking up in the afternoon.

A bus stop operates outside the main gates of the school on Beaudesert Road. Brisbane City Buses operate regular timetables to and from this area providing students who live a little further away with easy and safe travel to school. Students can also catch a train to school. Moorooka State is on the Beenleigh line and is a short walk from the school. Buses also regularly travel from Moorooka train station past the school.

Students travelling on public transport will need a GoCard.
