All classes at Moorooka State School, from prep to year 7, are involved in a scheduled 30 minute fitness program each day. 

Activities include general physical activity, ball games, dance, aerobics, Zumba, and a multitude of activities to ensure that students remain active every day.

During breaks, students are encouraged to remain active. As the school has two large ovals and plenty of open space and playgrounds, most children find themselves actively playing at lunch time. Soccer, especially, is quite a popular game played during breaks.
